Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 14 years
- For Hazardous Trades: 18 years (as per Apprenticeship Act, 1961)
- No upper age limit as per the latest MSDE guidelines.
Salary & Stipend
- For one-year ITI Certificate Holders: ₹7,700 per month
- For two-year ITI Certificate Holders: ₹8,050 per month
Note: The stipend is governed by the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and subsequent amendments.
Educational Qualification (Trade-wise)
Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:
- Matriculation (10th Pass) with 50% aggregate marks
- ITI (NCVT/SCVT) with 65% aggregate marks
- Valid ITI trade certification
Note: Candidates with incomplete ITI certificates or without mark sheets are not eligible.
Selection Procedure
The selection process consists of the following stages:
1. Shortlisting of Candidates
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications (10th & ITI marks) and relevant documents.
2. Written Examination
- Mode: OMR-based exam
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 75 (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Subjects Covered:
- Trade Theory – 50 marks
- Mathematics & General Science – 10 marks
- General Knowledge & English – 15 marks
- Negative Marking: No negative marking
3. Interview & Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an oral interview and document verification, including verification of the following:
- Matriculation (10th) Mark Sheet
- ITI Certificate
- Aadhaar Card
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
- Ex-Serviceman Certificate (if applicable)
- NCC & Sports Certificates (if applicable)
4. Medical Examination
All selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness test as per Apprenticeship Rules.
Final selection will be based on the combined performance of the written test and interview.
