The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has issued a notification regarding employment opportunities for Internship positions. Candidates who are interested in the details of the vacancy and have met all eligibility requirements are encouraged to review the notification and submit their applications.
Qualification:
For category of Law Student:
Law students currently in their second year of a three-year LLB program or in the fourth year of a five-year integrated LLB program are eligible.
For the category of Law Graduates:
Law graduates who have completed either a three-year LLB program or a five-year integrated LLB program within the last two years, meaning their final examination must have been passed no earlier than 2023, qualify for this category.
Additionally, students who have taken their final year or semester examinations by the specified cutoff date are permitted to apply under the Law Graduate category. Candidates applying under this provision must provide evidence of having successfully completed their final year LLB or integrated LLB program upon joining.
Internship Stipend:
Law students : Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand Rupees) per month
Law graduates : Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand Rupees) per month
