CBSE Exam 2025: Future Exams Will Require CCTV Surveillance

The CBSE Board organizes the exam every year; this year, the exam will be held in February, with examination officials overseeing the process. Students in India, as well as all over the world, are participating. Approximately 44 lakh students will participate this year, and 8,000 examination centers will conduct the exam.

Most of the student are preparing for board exams and it’s important because it will decide stream of student. Different student choose different way of like home tuition or other way. But the self study will help more need memorize all preparation so that will help in remember for the exam.

CBSE Board Exam 2025 onwards, the board issued new guidelines related to the examination centers’ installation of CCTV installations in all affiliated schools, and cameras is mandatory. So, that the board can ensure transparency and keen eyes on all activities.

  • Identification of real time monitering of examination conduct
  • Make the examination process more transparent

Conditions for installation of CCTV Cameras

  • CCTV cameras should have a zoom feature and high resolution So, that easy to detect things clearly crystal.
  • Place the camera so that the student’s view is clear. Place the camera in such a way that the student view is clear.
  • Before the examination center should ensure the recording is working properly and can be retrieved if required.

  1. Everyone (students, staff, and other members who are related to the examination) should be notified about the CCTV Cameras so that they about it. Also need to place notice on examination center about the CCTV cameras.
  2. Data safety is very important so data should be save in proper manner so that can easily reterive by the authorize person. The shuld be retain till after 2 month result declaration of 10th and 12th. After that time you can disposed the data.
  3. Data should be placed in secure places and it should be access by only authorized person not all.

Assign one authorized person to every 10 exam rooms or 240 students. The designated person will have access to retrieve and access CCTV footage in case unfair means are observed during the examination.

The examination center will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and ensuring proper functioning of the CCTV camera during the exam. CCTV Camera coverage service should not be interrupted in the complete examination process.

Need to provide proper taining to the staff, exam invigilator, and security personnel about the CCTV footage operation and reviewing process. Also need to spread awareness about CCTV footage surveillance for this examination center apply notice also can prepare modern hanbook and share it so that all (student & parents) know about it. After completing the examination need to take feedback from students as well as from parents so, that we know the identification of weak points and areas and can improve the surveillance process.

  • The camera should be high resolution like 4k if not possible then at least 1024px resolution.
  • One should fix and adjust camera fixing.
  • The camera should use a wide range lens.
  • The switch and router that is used for processing the camera have sufficient bandwidth to handle data from the camera properly.

For complete installation and maintenance, the board will not bear any cost. Those who wish to become an examination center will do it.
