Educational Qualification (Post-wise)
1. Junior Engineer, Grade-I (Degree) Civil
- Essential Qualification:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university/institution.
- Must possess a Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC).
- Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
2. Junior Engineer, Grade-II (Diploma) Civil

Selection Procedure
The selection will be conducted as per the Combined Competitive Examination Rules-2022, consisting of three stages:
1. Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type) – 100 Marks
- Qualifying Exam for shortlisting candidates for the Main Exam.

- UR: 40%
- SC/ST: 30%
2. Main Examination – 500 Marks
- General Studies: 100 Marks
- Civil Engineering Paper-I: 200 Marks

- UR: 40% in aggregate
- SC/ST: 30% in aggregate
3. Interview-cum-Personality Test – 50 Marks
Candidates qualifying in the Main Exam will be called for the final Personality Test based on the following criteria:

- 2 Vacancies: Top 8 Candidates
- 3+ Vacancies: 3 times the number of vacancies
Final selection will be based on merit, considering the Main Exam & Interview scores.
